With only a few more days for Christmas shopping and shipping, I'm going to be making a few (2 or 3) Christmas Creepies to put on ebay on Sunday and one to give a friend for Christmas. Thinking maybe a little boy skully in elf/santa pjs, a little girl skully is her Christmas finest, and maybe a skully Christmas bear hanging ornaments on a tree. But we'll see what actually comes about.
Pics will be coming along soon enough and then of course the links to their auctions as well.

New Baby...my first attempt at reborning
So while I most certainly prefer sculpting over simply painting a doll, reborning seems to be a extremely challenging technique that I wanted to give a little venture into. Now in my sculpted doll nursery (littlemoonnursery.com) I have used vinyl limbs rather then sculpting them with my larger head sculpts, but I've never done a complete kit including rooting the hair. So this should be interesting as heck.
I did not choose a high quality or expensive vinyl kit to attempt my first reborn baby. The kit I ordered has minor flaws that I am sure I can work around. The kit is by Sandra White and it's called Leah.

So yup. That's what I'll be jumping into in a week or so.

Werewolf Newborn
Thursday, May 2, 2013
Wow, how time passes!
Well it has been a really really long time since I've logged in, sold any sculpts, or even touched clay. Well today I did manage to get a few sculpts on ebay. Some from quite some time ago. 2 sea snail dragons, an alien baby, monkey baby, baby boy, a zombie panda, and my 2 teeny tiny mouse fae. I do have a new sculpt in the making right now though. Taking my time on him. Progress and pics coming soon enough.

IADR February Contest Entry
Alrighty everyone. I'm actually already most of the way through sculpting the torso, not bad for me and my procrastinating ways! So the theme for IADR's February Contest is "Art Of The Soul". So I've decided to do the most evident emotion for me....all of them! My piece will be called "Freedom in Madness" and will feature a fierce female lycae (werewolf) during her first freeing of her beast! I think the piece may be a bit frightening, but as I see it she's being freed of her torn emotions and allowing her rage to become bliss!
I'll post pictures as it comes together or at least once I have a head sculpted.

Dragon Hatchling...almost ready for pics!!!
The dragon hatchling is now completely sculpted and I'm pretty certain this is the last layer of paint this little cutie is getting. After the wings and paint are cured and the baby has had a little freezer time (adding strength), I'll grab a few pics to share.
As I said it's a dragon hatchling, also called a dragon pup. It's not anatomically correct, so he or she is up to you! The pup's color is mainly red and black, but there's some blushing that's purple/blue/brown. The eyes are still sealed shut and the scales are premature, a lot like a freshly hatched baby bird. The wings are small and a little transparent.
I really really like this little one and I'm having trouble with the idea of parting ways with it! This dragon hatchling is so adorable!
