WIP: Mermaid at the River's Edge

I'm actually not certain whether this mermaid will be another "River Spirit" (Pandorian Mermaid) or simply a seriously cold-water mermaid. Either way her basic skin tone will be a light steel blue. As you can see from her WIP (work in progress) pics she's in a launging pose with one arm delicately touching the water beneath her resting branch. Her head will be tilted downward to allow her gaze to follow her hand.

As I'm working on her she'll probably let me know whether she'll be another AVATAR inspired mermaid or a cold-water mermaid! Follow and see. Here's a few of her WIP pics (7" armature with bulk). Her armature is 7" tall and once her fluke (tail fins) are added she'll have an extra inch or two).

Alluring Enchantment (avatar inspired) finished and on ebay

Here she is, "Alluring Enchantment". Funny I was certain she wanted to be a na'vi fae, but as I was finishing up her hair she decided to be a straight seductive lady na'vi! I adore her, hope you like her too! Lots of pictures on her auction page, more pics coming here shortly.

WIP: Avii (avatar inspired fae) UPDATE

I've finally gotten the "avatar" fever back and was able to sculpt a head onto the Avii (avatar inspired na'vi fae) I'm currently working on. Here are a few pics of that. Hopefully I'll get her finished up this week sometime.

Lillian, dragon hybrid infant

She's approx. 3" long. She's hand sculpted from Premo Sculpey and hand painted with acrylics. The color palette used includes metallic purple and periwinkle brushed with a shimmering ivory. She has a magical appearence and is cute as a button! Particularly cute for a dragon hybrid (1/2 dragon, 1/2 fae). She'll have a neat cradle base shortly, I'll post pics shortly.

The first two pics below are Lillian prior to firing and painting. The pics do absolutely no justice to the serenity of this little creature.
